What is Hot Yoga?

Hot yoga is practicing many yoga modalities in a heated environment. Asthanga, Hatha, Vinyasa

Born in India, almost 5000 years ago, Yoga is believed to have evolved during the period of the 'Sat Yuga', also called the Golden age. This period became known as a time of everlasting peace and abundant blessings, filled with seekers of the Eternal Truth.

Yoga - the very word radiates peace and tranquility.

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Yuj' which essentially means to join or unite. The union referred to is that of the individual self uniting with Cosmic Consciousness or the Universal Spirit. Yoga is a means to achieving this goal.

Charter Membership$99

The Chicago School of Hot Yoga charter membership includes unlimited classes and full use of our deluxe facilities. You will be eligible to both rent a private locker and use our private laundering service so your workout clothing and towel is ready for you when you come to class. We also offer free wireless internet. We encourage you to make our lounge your home away from home.
